Just wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to Puerto Rico till September 12th. GB Fullerton students Jaime and Marisa were nice enough to take me along with them on this trip. Mostly this trip will be leisure, we are also looking at the possibilities of planting the GB flag here!!!!!!
There is a small Jiu Jitsu school in the city that we will be staying in, so if we get a chance to train there we will take pictures and post them for everyone to see!

Thanks and we will miss our GB family while we are gone.

You’re in a professional training environment. You’re not trying to win; you’re striving to learn. The goal is not to compete with each other but to complement each other’s development. Proceed at a pace that is slow enough to ensure excellent form and everyone’s safety. Speed comes from repetition so you don’t have to artificially force it. Go too fast and you risk sacrificing proper execution which just means you develop bad habits really quickly.

We will eating, swimming, playing volleyball and soccer too! Please feel free to bring all your friend and family for a great day!!!

Las Vegas BJJ tournament!
The IBJJF presents the Las Vegas International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi/No-gi tournament. The tournament is all day Gi in the morning and No-gi later in the day. Come to support our GB family!

Summer beach party and potluck!
We will be having our second monthly beach party/potluck of the summer! More details to come soon regarding time and place!

Buddy week!!!
We had such a great time last year when we did this, so many new people were able to be exposed to BJJ this way. So start telling your friends and family to get ready to train. So whom ever you bring in will get to take any fundamentals class with you and if they join you will get your choice of a new gi or a 1 hour private lesson. Just let Andrew know ahead of time so we can prepare a gi for them.
